David Lammy will respond today to Sir Brian Leveson’s review of the criminal courts, the Ministry of Justice announced in a press notice for release this morning. It seems the justice secretary is not going quite as far as originally reported. But, as I observed yesterday, he would not be the first minister to ask for more than he wanted in order to claim credit for making concessions.
